I have loved you for a thousand years...

So today in english class we were talking about love. What love meant to each one of us.

I was like to me love is my family and friends. I don’t really believe in relationships these days guess I’m a little (a lot xD) oldschool. It seems like everybody is breaking up lately and true love is hard to find, I guess I’m the kind of girl who’ll wait for the one. I don’t want to have someone in between or start a relationship with someone if I know it’s not for forever real.

My (guy)friends say that I’m really complicated, a little crazy and absolutely extraordinary. Last summer my best friend was like “ You know you remind me of my first love. She passed away. I still miss her. She was just like you, she was special but most of all she was fearless…”

After that summer I know I will never change, because although I might not be like the rest I’m proud to be different.

Me and my teacher (who’s is really cool and really pretty) talked about my first love. The story of two best friends and how they grew up together and then in Junior High everything changed. How I started to ignore him because I knew we could never be together (something like “Romeo&Juliet” or “The west side story”).

My teacher was like you’ll never find a guy like him because my friend told her how he was trying to fix things and get me back for like 2 years and I completely ignored it. She said that guys are jerks these days and she’s right. Most of them are but I still believe that there are somewhere out there "good" guys too.

I talk with my best friend/first love again and you know although I don’t feel butterflies anymore and I’m not freaking out because he send me a message, I guess he’ll always be a part of me.

They say nothing lasts forever but I believe that sometimes, when you learn to truly care about someone and love someone for who he/she is it’s eternal…

Like the lyrics in the song go:

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I love you for a thousand more...

"Friends"

I think we all have “friends”. Not friends but “friends” ;). People who make us feel insecure, like we’re not good enough. You have the beautyqueen who think she ownes the world, you have the smart ass, the gossip girl, the friendly one and the jealous frenemy...

And sometimes you question yourself do I really need girls who act like bitches? Are they worth it?

The beauty queen thinks she ownes it with her Gucci bag and Miu Miu shoes, but does she know something about haute couture? Does she really know what style is? Is she really that beautiful? And do guys really like her? Well, first of all a Gucci bag doesn’t make you a STYLE QUEEN (ok sometimes it does xD), someone with style will even look good wearing a garbage bag. And wearing tons of make up can make everyone pretty so stop being insecure about yourself. If all the boys (even your crush) like her, then that means they only like her for her appearance. And you want a guy who loves you for who you are, right? So thank her for pointing out all the “wrong” guys!

The smart ass, whenever you’re around her you feel kind of dumb. She always gets A’s and teachers ADORE her. Although she seems like a REALLY nice girl at first, she’ll never let you get better grades. She’ll help you but somehow you’ll end up wondering why she always acts like she’s IT. And she’ll try to copy your style. Happend to me.

The gossip girl. What can I say? She’s a bitch when you get to know her. The beauty queen and the gossip girl are besties. Miss gossip girl doesn’t like it when you spend more time with her bestie than she does. And she’ll hate you if you’re better than her. In any way. She’s the one who spread the rumors in school and actually no one really likes her. When they get to know her ;)

The friendly one will probably be your closest friend. Because she somehow has your back. You two always have fun and you like her the best. The only problem is that she’s friends with your “friends”.

And last but not least: The jealous frenemy. She is also the “follower” she’ll do ANYTHING to stay in the circle. Even if that means bitching you out. Actually she is an insecure loser but that’s not what you see on the outside. Because on the outside she’s “badass”.

To be honest you’re better off without such “friends”, it’s better to be normal and be happy than popular and be everything but happy ;) And I know those girls CAN be fun sometimes and you have a great time, but if you’re REALLY honest then you’ll realize that most of the time they just let you down…

Much love,

the Bollywood film is none other than Akshay Kumar

Kareena Kapoor is making headlines once again. Kareena is the queen of Bollywood and she knows that how to keep herself under the spotlight. Recently she got the media attentions when she refused Ajay Devgan’s offer to work with him in his upcoming home production. Her relationship with Saif Ali Khan is another reason for her popularity. It has been reported that the couple is ready to get married in February next year. Though this news is not confirmed yet.

The Break "Up"

It’s.

Over.

1)      Cry. As much as you have to/want to. You can even drive to like nowhere and scream out loud how much you hate your ex. Or smash his car. You have two days to be a total mess.

2)      Talk. Ok, you’ve cried and locked yourself up in your room for two days. Enough. Now call up your friends and TALK to them. Tell them how you feel, spit it out! Yup, that means sleepovers, popcorn and a lot romantic movies! Girrrrrrrrl Powerrrrrrr :P

3)      Delete.Everything that reminds you of him. Throw it out of your window, throwing it in the trash bin is ok too. Or just hide it. At you friend’s house so you can’t “accidentally on purpose” find it in your closet ;). Just admit that you’ll be looking for it :P

4)      Start again. Ok, you had your “therapy” now it’s time to get back to normal life. I know this is the hardest part. Just try to be happy and never forget that you have your friends and that there are guys out there who are worth it. Ok, what I meant was don’t forget that he’s jerk and your friends will never let you down.

5)      Shine. Try a crazy-total-me- but-my-bf-doesn’t-like-it hairstyle. Flirt. Wear that dress he used to hate the most. Laugh. And chase your dreams! You’re F.R.E.E. now, so enjoy it.

6)      Breath. Learn to live whithout him.

7)      Let go. Time will pass and your wounds will heal and you’ll meet someone special.

Stay Strong,
Mina

Street Style at Somerset House

London Fashion Week would not be complete without a chance to soak up the atmosphere and watch those shows we don’t have invites for, on the big screen outside the BFC Showspace at Somerset House.  It also gave us the opportunity to boost the caffeine intake for the day, have a dose of sunshine and people watch. We were not disappointed. LadyM herself declared her main aim for Day 3 of LFW was to meet Lenny the Pug, the blogging dogfrom Stylist Magazine. Her wish came true and he was looking very dapper in a Mulberry jumpe
